This is a blog I have put together as a personal way to share my Faith, my Faith in Jesus Christ, my Redeemer, the one true son of God whom gave his life in the flesh for the sins of the entire world.
My Calling..after 34 year as a Christian!
Every 22 minutes a U.S. Combat Veteran takes their own life.
I was called by the Lord in 2010 to the ministry, specifically the American warriors who are still fighting the war at home. I now speaks to at least a dozen or so wounded heroes six days a week, using my own struggles and trials of combat as a catalyst to share how the Father has given me comfort in illness through the scriptures. For Christ Jesus is “The Healer of Healers”, if it were not so He would not have said so. Just a few of the scriptures that I ministers to these men and women who feel they are without hope are these;
Jehovah – Rapha
“God whom heals”.
Exodus 15:26
“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I the LORD that healeth thee.”
Psalms 103:3
“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;”
Psalms 107:20
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered from their destructions.”
Isaiah 53:4-5
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. {5} But he wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witness unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
SALVATION
Anyone who calls on our Father (God); in the name of Jesus Christ, asking of Him to forgive them of their sins, confessing your individual sins unto Christ, acknowledging that you know He is the risen Son of God who died on the cross for all the sins of man, and rose from the grave shall be saved!
Find yourself a solid Evangelical, bible preaching church to join. All you need to do is go forward during the invitation, profess that you are a sinner who has prayed unto Christ, acknowledging Him as the risen Son of God, and you have repented your sins unto Him, asking for forgiveness, and that you have asked Him to come into your heart and transform your life, that each day you may grow in His word to walk in His path, growing daily! Make your intentions know unto the church that you are seeking to join the church, following in baptism!
For God doesn’t wish for you to just accept Christ, (new Christians are referred to as “babes in Christ”), our heavenly Father wants us to grow in Christ! This is how you begin your journey in playing your part in “The Great Commission”, by learning, and learning comes through hearing! Did you know that when you become saved by the blood of the lamb (Jesus), and you grow in His word, and are obedient to His commandments God says we are Saints, and we hold a higher place in heaven than the Angels!
Our God (the one true God) is an awesome God, He is the the real meaning of unconditional love; Agape love! We are born into sin, and the greatest Theologians in the world (even 50yr Pastor’s will frankly admit that even as Christians we will still mess up and sin). You are not expected to be perfect, only to seek perfection in becoming more “Christ like”. There has only been one man to walk this earth without sin, and that is Jesus Christ.
This is why it is important that you do three things after your salvation; 1. Surrounding yourself with knowledgeable Christians. 2. Read Gods Word DAILY. 3. Fall on your knees daily, or better yet multiple times per day, talking one on one with the Father EVERY DAY (Most have heard Christians speak of time in their prayer closet, that is referring to this daily one on one time with the Father) . I can attest, there is nothing upon this earth that will compare to the day your in reverent prayer, talking to your heavenly Father and you hear Him speak back to you! He is your Father, you need not speak Greek or Hebrew, nor be a Theologian, show Him respect, and talk to Him just as you would have any respectful conversation. He knows what you are wanting to say even before your grandparents were conceived, He know every hair on your head, He knows each star in the sky by number, the earth is His foot stool. Basically, be yourself with the utmost reverence.
